Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko, an Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial artist who is competing for in the UFC in the Flyweight Division, is a Kyrgyzstani. In 2018, she left the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her superior striking abilities during the clinch final round by using knees on the body. Antonina was offered the UFC invitation following her win. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took the win via unanimous decision but losing her following fight to Roxanne Modafferi by split decision. Antonina recovered from the loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova with a back-naked choke submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 during her subsequent three matches which included a win over Ariane Lipski while falling to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
